EVENT

I totally forgot to post about my second out of class experience. So, every second Friday night of each month Old Towne Petersburg holds something called "Friday Night For the Arts".  I used to go with my parents when I was younger, but I actually just went last month. It's so awesome to see the corner of the city come alive with all sorts of talented people, from painters to musicians it's all there.  They just play their music and sometimes people give them money. And there's a little art exhibition down there displaying art from local artists which I think is pretty cool.  Its neat that they're getting their stuff out there like that. I'm sure they all really appreciate the people coming just to see their work. My family and I really enjoy it. We'll probably go again next Friday!

Portfolio

I really wish I could have gotten really into blogging this semester. Maybe I will one day.  I don't plan on deleting it or anything.  But anyways, I thought that this whole portfolio thing was going to be so much harder to finish.  I think I'm finally done though.  I really appreciate Sweeny's contract grading option for this class. It was nice to know that if you tried your best and completed everything that a teacher was actually appreciating the effort of their students, instead of grading them numerically on writing; which is a very opinionated thing to put a grade on.  I also liked the interaction aspect of the class.  There's nothing like Sweenglish!

Weekend.

This weekend, I successfully beat the high score on Fruit Ninja with the fam.  I also attended the worst church service of my life.  We all about near fell asleep.  The Eagles beat the Packers, I have mixed feelings about that.  Other than that, my weekend has been very relaxed and full of family...to the max. Later guys.

I feel like I'm a little behind on these blogs. So I'm gonna post another one while I'm sitting in class. Well today I was extremely late to class because I thought today was Saturday....anyways I also kinda missed out on my grammar schmammar group, who I actually didn't even think would be here. I thought it was just going to be me and one other person. I'm kinda mad that I drove out here just for 30 minutes. It's whatever. Bloggy, bloggy, bloggy. Happy late Halloween ! 

Science museum

I took my little either and my sister to the science museum in richmond. I like the museum because they have all kinds of activities and you can interact with everything. While we were there we saw an IMAX movie. We only had a few choices, so we picked the one about the Grand Canyon. It was CRAZY. It was like we were really in the canyon. I tried to take a picture, even though they for even want you to have your phone out, but my flash went off!!! I felt like a dumbass. Anyways, I definitely recommend this museum to anyone who wants to waste the day away and be entertained.
